What do I hear you say

Well somebody asked me which was my favorite band or musician... This questions as you know comes pretty frequently and because of that it should be easy to respond, right?

Not my case, for me to respond it is very hard because I am truly a Melomaniac, which stands for "addicted to music" so I like a tons of things and it's impossible to narrow it to just one.

Then after contemplating my incapableness to say a name, people tend to ask me this: So, which kind of music you like then?... And it comes to the same thing as the first question... I like music, not one type or style ALL the music, impossible to say jus one.

So to prove my story I decided to make a small list of things I hear to clarify my addiction, some of the things can sound unfamiliar but I assure you, It all exist and is all great.

So here it comes (In no particular order):

· David Bowie (he is odd and makes great music)
· Frank Zappa (Other odd man with very interesting music)
· Ruben Blades (He's from Panama, if you can understand Spanish you'll hear one of the best lyrics on earth)
· Carlinhos Brown (From Brazil, very cool stuff)
· Clawfinger (This band is from Sweden, great lyrics and lots of attitude)
· Eric Satie (The Gymnopédies and Ogives are just beautiful)
· Basement Jaxx (Crazy electronica music)
· Oomph! (Great German Rock band, Rammstein souns crappy around this guys)
· Einstürzende Neubauten (The daddies of Industrial, REAL Industrial)
· Juno Reactor (Great tribal fusion stuff)
· 101622 (Experimental as hell)
· Queen (Some great tunes came from them)
· Johnny Cash (Great when you are alone and very sad)
· Dj Tiesto (If you what to meet hot girls go to electronica raves, and this man is one of the best in the game)
· Mano Negra (French band, fun music)

· Orishas (Rap band from Cuba, they mix the rap with son cubano)
· Salif Keita (Great sound and vocal work from Africa)
· Armand Van Helden (other great one for parties and hot girls)
· Chumbawamba (Lots of songs in honor to buzz, you have to respect that)
· Aretha Franklin (If you want to talk about respect you have to love her voice)
· Placido Domingo (What a great voice, My favorite opera of his "Carmen")

Well you get the point... I'm tired of writing and you can see by this (Small, very small) list that I love all the music, so if you some day want to invite me to a drink we will not have a fight about the kind of music we shall hear, ok?

Kisses
